BSCI LABS
An important part of the Building Science curriculum is the inclusion of hands-on labs. Most classes have some form of hands-on learning activity to accompany the material that we are learning thru traditional methods. Most of these labs took place at the BSCI Field Lab off of Samford Ave. The BSCI Field Lab has stations for different activities.

This concrete lab was meant to teach us how to measure out the different components of concrete and learn what happens when the ratios of materials is changed. It was a warmup for our service learning project later in the semester.

In our Mechanical Systems class, Professor Rahn has us complete a Piping Visualization Project. We are supposed to learn how to look at a 2 dimensional drawing and visualize the 3d model.

Plumbing Lab Exercise

At home I practiced with other materials before the Lab the next day.
