BSCI SERVICE LEARNING PROJECTS
A part of our Structures for Builders courses is the inclusion of a service learning project in the curriculum. This gives an application to some of the concepts learned in our class. It also is a chance for the BSCI students to give back to the community. I was blessed to have participated in two of these projects in my time at Auburn University. The first was a scaled down reproduction of a bygone icon of the Auburn area, the Sani-Freeze Restaurant. The other service learning project I participated in was pouring a concrete slab for the Auburn Islamic Center underneath a wooden pavilion at their facility. Both of these projects took a lot of hard work and time, but taught myself and my classmates so much. Please visit the websites I made for each of these projects by clicking on the buttons below.
